Welcome to the A.A. General Service website for Area 36 District 20

District 20 includes Champlin, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, New Hope, Crystal, Robbinsdale, and the northwest corner of Minneapolis (from Broadway Ave to the Mississippi River). The primary purpose of this website is to facilitate communication within District 20 and between District 20 and A.A. members.

About Our District

Who We Are

We are a group of Alcoholics Anonymous members serving geographical cluster of AA meetings. Our mission is to carry the message of recovery, support local AA groups, and participate in the General Service structure within our area.

District Meetings

When: 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM

Next meeting: November 25, 2025

Where: Twin Lake Alano Club

We are actively seeking participation from Group Service Representatives (GSRs) to help strengthen our district service structure.

Responsibilities
  • • Monthly district meetings
  • • Representing our AA meetings at Area 36
  • • Passing information from the General Service structure to our meetings and vice versa
  • • Addressing group needs
  • • Spreading awareness of the district at events like Gopher State and Founders Day
